Speaker Spotlight – Gabriel Levine

Gabriel Levine

Gabriel Levine is a San Francisco-based attorney and Partner at the law firm of Levine & Baker LLP. He acts as outside legal counsel on business matters for new media professionals, including established and emerging web and software design firms. His focus is on proactive asset protection, and prevention of business disruption.

Gabe speaks to industry groups on legal issues of interest to new media entrepreneurs, and is well known for his role in an (in)famous speaking engagement at Creative Mornings San Francisco with Mike Monteiro of Mule Design Studio.

Gabe lives in San Anselmo (Marin County), California with his wife Holly, and daughter Kate.  Marin County, which Gabe affectionately refers to as, the “Mecca for Nature Freaks”, is where mountain biking was invented, and is home to The Dipsea – the oldest trail running event in America. Being a Nature Freak himself, Gabe frequently runs the trails of the Mt. Tam Watershed.

Gabe describes himself as being passionate about many things, but above all else, “logical to a fault.” He candidly admits that, “… just about everything gets filtered through some left-brained mechanism that [he] ha[s] little control over.” After a long pause he indicated, that if he had a “warning label” it would probably read: “Might sound arrogant; only trying to help.

Gabe admits to being a “Sci-Fi Geek”, and devotee of the San Francisco Giants.
